Who is Neem?

Raneem is a 24-year-old home baker living in the East Village. During the day she moonlights as a product manager in the cybersecurity world, but she’s always had a passion for baking. What started with a whisk and a box of Betty Crocker brownie mix at the ripe age of five has turned into a small business running from her New York City apartment.

Raneem has always loved baking for fun—whether it’s for her friends’ birthdays, promotions, arbor day, or just to share with her roommates during the week. She is constantly whipping up something new, incorporating a whimsical style and probably a lot of salt (she can talk about this at length). Most ingredients are sourced locally, and Raneem particularly loves getting inspiration from the farmer’s market to see what’s in season.

Over the past couple of years, her passion for baking has grown. With support from her friends (who’ve given her the nickname “Neem”), she has decided to make it official, curating a menu of custom cakes now available to order. She can’t wait to share more of her baking with New York City!
